It's one of the best and nicest steak restaurants I know. From the service to the ambience to the food it is simply worth the 5 stars. I haven't heard anything negative about this restaurant from my circle of friends either. Simply great👍

We went to eat there on October 2nd, 2020. Prior telephone reservation was completely unproblematic, the service was very friendly and the food was excellent. The steak is probably the best I've had so far.

I drove past it a few days in advance. It looked very inviting. The service was very polite, accommodating and attentive. The standard menu wasn't too much, but there are still daily specials. Had a huge appetite for a juicy pepper steak. And that's what I got. Optionally instead of french fries with a baked potato. Homemade quark and herb butter. Was very good. The steak was perfectly medium as I ordered. I had forgotten the question of whether medium or through comes in advance. A culinary delight in terms of taste. Price performance was great. I also pay that in other restaurants. The ambience captivates with the outdoor catering very much like Bergisch. Will definitely go out to eat here again. A huge compliment to the cook. Keep it up...

Only 2 stars, because price-performance ratio is not right. As a starter there was grilled prawns on toasted bread. 13 euros for 3 prawns, 2 small slices of bread and some chopped tomatoes. Technically not difficult, that for the price is really laughable, especially not in terms of taste, everything is very smooth. Then a salad plate with sheep's cheese for 16.50 euros. Here, too, not a lot of work that a trainee can do. Price clearly too high. There is no star restaurant here that justifies these prices. In Oberbergischen there are many restaurants that are better here, both in terms of taste and price. And for a red wine that I can get for 4.95 euros on the Internet and then have to pay 22 euros for it, that is very embarrassing. It's a shame for the really nice atmosphere and the nice service.

We ate here with 4 people, everyone was satisfied. What bothered us was the presence of 2 different families, each with a dog indoors.

A place to feel good. The inside and outside area are lovingly designed. The food is a feast for the eyes and a treat for the palate. The card reads like a poem.
